The New Year is upon us now. Let’s all hope that 2023 brings peace everywhere, especially to Ukraine. The response to our initial fund-raising appeal to equip Invincibility Centers in Chyhyryn has been extremely generous, but the needs continue. We have had great support from the community and a very generous boost to our efforts from Sebastopol Rotary. Three locations will soon be equipped with a generator, satellite internet, and other needed supplies. A picture of the first Center is attached. The Mayor of Chyhyryn presided over its official opening yesterday (December 28, 2022).

So many people in Chyhyryn appreciate the efforts of all of you and Sebastopol World Friends in providing this important aid to the people of Chyhyryn and the thousands of displaced people they are hosting right now.
