The people of Sebastopol, CA. and Chyhyryn, Ukraine have formed deep friendships and connection over our more than 20 year sister city relationship. Now Sebastopol World Friends is organizing a fundraising project through Project C.U.R.E. for the hospital in Chyhyryn to show our concrete support and caring for our Ukrainian brothers and sisters. Project C.U.R.E. is a non-profit organization that collects donated medical supplies and equipment and distributes it to hospitals and clinics in over 130 developing nations.

Our goal of $30,000 will allow us to arrange for the shipment of one entire cargo container of supplies, the exact nature of which will be determined by a rigorous, onsite assessment conducted by Project C.U.R.E. Project C.U.R.E. also conducts whatever necessary followup training with hospital staff once the supplies have arrived. We have no doubt that the benefits to the entire Chyhyryn region will be significant and profound.
